Accent Table Christmas Decor
Accent Table Christmas Decor – Happy Monday! One more week until the kids go back to school for Christmas break! Honestly, I’m so glad to be back this week. I can’t wait for my kids to get out of school so I can watch Christmas movies in my mornings and Christmas lights at night in my pajamas. There seems to be a pajama theme here. Of course I’m a fan. π
Sharing how I decorated my console for the holidays today! This table is more neutral and colorful than I originally thought, but it still feels festive when you turn a corner in our family room.

A few simple reds in my favorite vase from Target add a nice pop of color. Still, it’s a happy pop of color. π

Deer (or should we say peacekeepers) patrol the area and the effect of my fall decor I left on a plate next to it. This year I experimented with mixing golds and silvers.
The beautiful tree in the corner is covered in one of Rudolph’s favorite decorations. I’m a fan of everything Rudolph.
Christmas decorating is so much fun because you can make a few simple changes and get a new look at the holidays.

Farmhouse Style Christmas Console Table
My friend Cindy from County Road 407 is starting a “mission impossible” to create a Pinterest pin every month.
Then we bloggers set ourselves the challenge of putting together a look inspired by the original. Don’t want to see the inspiration pin anymore?
If you’re coming from my dear friend Paula at Virginia Sweet Pea , you’ve already seen a great example of this challenge. Isn’t your vintage coffee table decoration absolutely beautiful?
Glam Christmas Living Room Tour + Tips For Easy Holiday Decorating
Our muse this month is Jennifer at Grace House Interiors. Jennifer shared a wonderful Christmas walkthrough of a typical household, including this vintage box vignette.
I love the Magnolia “Chip and Joe” box with the weather. Cut Christmas trees and mixed berries are beautiful in their simplicity.
With Jennifer’s staples in mind, I created a similar centerpiece using things I already had (or made). So I filled in a few more home decor features for a complete coffee table look.

For my coffee table, I decided to create a trio that was a little more busy than usual. (I’m feeling a little “up” with the Christmas spirit this year).
The main theme of the coffee table was a rustic/woodland look, so I added a lot of natural elements to my display. Let’s tackle each of them with a decorating idea in mind.
Last month I shared a tutorial on how to make small tree houses. If you have a collection of items or a special accent to mark them off, glass is often appropriate.
My Minimalist Christmas Decor
What I love about domes is that they invite visitors to take a closer look. It’s a scene within a scene.
With this month’s challenges in mind, I wanted to add a Christmas decorated box to my vignette. In my previous post, I talked about how to make your coffee table decorative by putting together some extras.
This wooden box was a gift from my mother-in-law to my husband. I love the grooves and texture of this box and the simple front panel.
Christmas Decor Trends β Half Full
Tip: Partially fill a crate or box with paper, newspaper, or raffia to add height and stability.
After I filled the box about halfway, I placed the real cedar flowers along with my tree branches.
Tip: Add some greenery to liven up your coffee table decor and mix real and faux foliage.
Vintage Coke Crate Christmas Coffee Table Decor
This year I cut a new tree in the group my husband created. The rest are bought at the store. Can you guess which one I did in the photo above?
To finish off the centerpiece, I added faux sprinkles, frosted berries, and sprinkles. Very quick and easy!
You’ve made sure the trees are taller than the rest of the coffee table to draw attention to the display. I also repeated the same pattern of fruit on my Christmas tree.

I find that adding a small decorative sculpture to the coffee table makes the room feel more relaxed and comfortable. The deer sculpture added a nice touch to our woodland scene.
The red pattern and books also added some color to the scene. A coffee table always feels complete with some literature to entertain.
Supporting the entire coffee table was a Christmas table runner. This helped break up the wood textures and complement the neutral sofas, tying the whole piece together with the living room.

The console table we built in August is probably my favorite piece of furniture in the house. Decorating was fun, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
These gorgeous mercury glass Christmas trees were a steal from TJ Maxx. It was love at first sight and I knew they belonged on my entire console!
Festive Christmas Foyer Decorating Ideas
A light dusting of snow around the trees and bushes ended my search. I was hesitant to use it at first because of the confusion factor, but I’m glad the hobby demanded it. Also, the vacuum will pass instantly!
Here are some other TJ Maxx finds this year, along with the little ant studs (below) and the big deer in my outfit. Isn’t it the best?!
If you’re looking for a candle to make your home smell like the holidays, look no further! From Bath and Body Works, I’ve been putting it on every night for the past week! Yummy!
Classic Christmas Home Tour 2022
Like I said, the console table decor was perfect, and when I saw this “Happy New Year” wreath, I knew exactly where it belonged. Guess where it came from. Yes, TJ Maxx. This girl has done this place well this holiday!
This wire basket was found on Michael’s back in September. I filled in accordingly, choosing to “snow” pine cones and berries for Christmas.
Cardboard cones, hobby and I made last year. Such an easy DIY and I still love mine!
Deck The Blogs
It was the perfect tree for a transitional decor. I replaced the pilgrim decorations with green and red Christmas decorations, leaving out the bells and pine cones.
I love that you can see the shape of our Christmas tree in this photo! Do you want to drink other deer from TJ Maxx??
I’ve been decorating our dining room doors with wreaths since August and I think I’ll do it all year. With seasonal flowers, of course!
