My favorite (and what I always use) is whole coffee beans (black is better – they smell amazing), and a candle or tea in a wine glass, regular glass, bowl, small, loud, or anything made. which is clear or colored glass. If you put several different sizes together, it makes a beautiful centerpiece and it’s free, or about $3.99 for a whole bag of coffee beans. If you want to be really cheap, store the beans in the fridge after your dinner is over and reuse them as long as they’re still making the house smell like fresh coffee (maybe a few years).
