Christian Themed Table Decorations
I know I’m a little late this year, but I hope you’ll still find quick and easy ideas here and be inspired to create an inviting and meaningful table to gather with your loved ones this Easter!
Cute And Cheap Diy Easter Decorations
In keeping with the faith-filled ambition I’m trying to create for this neutral Easter table and DIY mantel decor, I dug into all the usual color ads for a neutral, relaxed and calm style.
I think that sometimes many religious festivals and holidays are unfortunately hijacked by modern consumers, so I tried to simplify this table, trying to focus on the true meaning of Easter, which is the resurrection of our Lord. and the Savior Jesus Christ.
With the current state of the world, I think I’m wondering how to celebrate at home. As always, the simple things and the slow pace of life are endlessly appealing to me, so much the more precious!
Centerpieces: 20 Centerpiece And Table Decoration Ideas
I think this table is a reflection of taking things slower, being in the moment and focusing on what/who is important. So these DIY and craft projects are ones that bring joy to my heart and soul, that I love to do, and that are meaningful to my family.
Anyway, I love a beautiful table with clever details, so I tried to incorporate some DIY projects into the styling and pulled pieces I already had or could use for the occasion.
The idea is to use what I already have, shop my home and make pieces in a different way to give you an idea of how to create a neutral table with religious elements for your Easter celebrations!
Easy Christmas Centerpiece Ideas
The first thing I did was put on a piece of mantle that was the backdrop to my dining room table. I love how it turned out and it was super cheap to make! You can change the text every year and have a beautiful piece of art in your home all year round!
For this project I made a farmhouse style kraft sign using my silhouette cutter and black vinyl.
I designed this sign to convey the Bible verse from Matthew 28:6, and added flowers and flowers to act as wall decor. I made it to fit a 75cm x 55cm canvas and used wrapping paper.
First Communion Honeycomb Centerpieces, Baptism Baby Shower Decorations
This was such a fun project and turned out even more beautiful than I imagined in my head! Can’t wait to try making more of these signs for other signs and holidays!
If you don’t have a cutting machine, you can use tracing paper and a black Sharpie to write the text by hand (like I did in this post). You can print the pattern, text or design on the computer and then use tracing paper to trace the letters onto the kraft paper.
To decorate the front of the coat, I make an Easter egg garland using plastic eggs and polystyrene eggs. This was one of my quickest DIY projects, but I love how cute and casual it is!
Wedding Decoration Ideas On A Budget For A Beautiful Event
You can of course change the colors and size of the eggs to suit your decor and style, but I chose neutral colors to match the atmosphere I wanted.
To complete my table and Easter decorations, I made wooden ball crosses that I added to the bead garland and used them in the mantel decorations to decorate the farmhouse cafe filled with measuring stones.
I also added a small bird’s nest filled with eggs and wrote a meaningful message about the event. I had the same egg sprinkled on my table so it was a good nod to the table picture decor.
Table Decor Ideas Part 1
A simple vase with neutral flowers and voila to complete the coat style! This vase is actually a recycled dinnerware that I featured in a previous DIY post here.
For the centerpiece of the table, I kept things simple with a white metal vase filled with neutral flowers. To keep the bouquets affordable, I used my craft to create arrangements using flowers and foliage from the garden.
For the table runner, I used a piece of straight grain from the bolt to hide the rough edges. This runner sits atop a plain white table for contrast.
The 17 Most Popular Wedding Themes, Styles & Aesthetics
It was really affordable and always looked great! To add more texture, I used dark brown belt placemats that I recently purchased for $2. You can check stores or try Amazon for a similar option.
The boards were simple with wooden handles, and I added wine glasses that could be used as drinking glasses for Easter brunch.
To decorate my table, I added ceramic bunnies and Ra Dunn inspired Easter eggs in wooden egg cups scattered around the table.
The Prettiest Wedding Candle Decorations
To inspire the Ra Dunn Easter Eggs, I used a black acrylic pen and hand-lettered the text onto a white plastic, matte egg.
If you don’t feel confident writing the text by hand, you can use transfer paper to cut the vinyl to stick to the egg. Alternatively, you can also use stickers or stamps as a quick and easy way to decorate eggs at home!
The wooden bead crosses were so fun to make, I decided to use them as napkin rings and thought they would be fun for guests to take home!
Christian Wedding Ceremony Ideas You Need To Know
In fact, you could also set up a wooden balloon making station for guests to make their own crosses after dinner, which would be a great way to entertain both adults and children!
Anyway, for my napkin rings/parties, I attached a piece of pewter to the napkin and placed the crosses along with the Easter gift tags. What’s easy?! 🥰
I designed these gift tags so you can print them on white or kraft card, whichever way you like!
