Console Table Decors
Console Table Decors – Call me a nerd, but one of my favorite things to do is decorate our console table. I love putting on relaxing music, having a fresh cup of coffee, and redecorating that little space. It’s therapeutic for me, especially when the world seems chaotic. It also forces me to slow down and focus only on
Which is honestly a struggle since my mind is running at 8172 mph at any given time. Anyway, I just finished decorating my console table, so I thought I’d share it with you lovely people today! And I have some of my favorite decorating tips at the bottom of the post.
Console Table Decors
I ordered the faux wood lamps from Target and I love how they basically match the color of this table! It was a happy accident, as Bob Ross would say.
Amazing Ways To Style Your Console Table With Fall Decor
1. Start in the center of the table with a focal point. This could be a piece of art, a large mirror, or maybe even a large family photo.
2. Add decoration in groups of three to each side of the focal point. You can of course change that if your table isn’t big enough, but I like to do small groups of three at the ends of the table.
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope this gives you an idea or two for decorating a console table. xoxoThis post reminds us that you don’t need a ticket to have a console! We don’t have wall space in front, so I decided to put a console in the kitchen. We have a little corner, and surprisingly it fits perfectly! I love being able to decorate it with cookbooks, kitchen accessories (wooden bowls, candles, etc.), so it’s also a functional decoration. I think this little space has really elevated my home, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to spruce up their home on a budget. It really makes me laugh, and we spend most of our time in this part of the house, so that’s a big win!

A reminder to shop at home first! I already owned most of the items shown below. I always put unused items in a closet so I can keep returning/trading if needed. This has already saved me a lot of time/money! I also try to buy timeless (neutral, not trendy) pieces to make them last even longer. Don’t forget to visit the local markets, second-hand shops, etc. Although, Target is always my go-to for cheap items (that look expensive)! My interior design style has definitely evolved over the past year, so I’ve been buying a bit more than I’d like to admit. oops!
I personally love using woven baskets and filling them with plush blankets and cozy basics. I have also seen many bloggers put pillows in this area! It is about creating a cozy and warm atmosphere. I also love that my console is right next to the couch in the living room. Another functional design element that is used regularly.
I love that the mirrors are the centerpiece of these consoles. Not only does it make the room look more spacious, but it really elevates the space. With so many different styles (oval, gold, bronze, antique, etc.) you can completely customize it! This is the one I have (and this is a similar option) but I’m totally obsessed with all things black right now.
How To Style A Console Table With Simple Decor You Can Move Room To Room
Height is incredibly important when it comes to decoration. I think plants completely fix everything! As soon as I added this faux olive plant, it already felt put together. Any way to attract attention is great in decoration! I also added neutral wall art for dimension. Adding layers on the table creates a sophisticated look that will never go out of style.
Since my table is in my kitchen, I thought it would be fun to add my favorite cookbook (Half Baked Harvest, she’s a legend) and I loved the neutral backbone. Another tip for books, turn them over so the pages are facing you. This is a tip I also use for my mantel to create a consistent color palette. Many of my books are colorful and overdone, so this keeps everything neutral.
I’m not sure why, but there is a power in grouping with 3 objects. Whether it’s a candle, a wooden bowl or a copper button, it’s a feast for the eyes.

I think this is very important to maximize the space in our small house. I keep a lot of the markers/art supplies in these drawers!

Summer Console Table Decor
Whether you live in a house, big or small, or in an apartment, you probably have a console table in your home. I love consoles and I think it would be fun to revamp them when you’re feeling a bit musty. I suggest finding a console table you love (even if it’s a few hundred bucks more up front) because you can move them around your house (or from house to house) and give them new life.
I wanted to give some simple styling tips for decorating a console table, because while we’re in quarantine, chances are you can buy a lot of your own home decor. You’ll see below that I’ve styled one of our console tables in a number of ways by interchanging some of my favorite interior pieces.
My son got an aquarium full of fish for Easter so they basically took the wooden table below as a support for the aquarium. It’s a cheap option because I bought it unfurnished and used a matte clear coat to protect it. Replacing the buttons and giving them a new look while keeping the price down.

If your table doesn’t have a bottom shelf, I like two ottomans side by side under the console table. The table I designed above has a lower shelf, so it’s another opportunity to display your favorite decor. As I prepared to move this table, I kept it simple, but could definitely add more layers.

Since the area where the console table sits has extra space, you can use this area to add another big accent, like more greenery. For example, here are a few:
