Decorating A Round Entry Table – A foyer or entrance is the first space a guest sees as they enter your home. Make a great first impression with a well-designed entry table. Today, our design experts share their secrets for styling an entryway table + accenting the Tri Delta Traditional foyer table. Read on to take your entrance from “welcome” to “wow!”
The Foyer of our Tri Delta Traditional project is full of coastal and traditional charm. The black and white checkered porcelain tile floors were on the agenda from the start and set such a striking tone for the space. To match the tones of the floor, we chose Lucy’s round dining table as the entry table. This porcelain foyer table set such an elegant tone for us, so when it came time to build on the beauty, we knew we had to bring a chinoiserie vase.

If you are thinking, “What is the best vase for a foyer table?” The Yuan Blue & White Sunflower Porcelain Jar is your answer. This blue and white vase has beautiful muted tones and looks great dressed up with or without flowers. Due to the ample space available in this table, we have completed the Yuan jar, Arhat White Busan Orchid Bowl. We’ve been loving moss as a plant element lately and used some in the Busan Bowl to add texture to this styling moment.

It was important that the residents of this fraternity have a guest book for all visitors. To hold the page and keep the style, we’ve included our favorite bookmark, the stylized beads. We love the look of the vintage sea glass beads in the sunlight + it’s a great tool to hold pages in your favorite coffee table book, guestbook or cookbook. Love this look as much as we do? The first decision you need to make is whether you want a table in the middle of your entryway or a console against the wall. This decision will probably be made for you based on how much space you have. A wide open foyer is the perfect place for a square or round foyer, while a narrower entryway is the perfect spot for a console table.
Tips For Decorating A Console Table In An Entryway
Once you have your table, it’s time to style! This table will set the tone for the rest of your home, so be careful about the look you want. Whether it’s coastal, French country modern, or mid-century modern, we’re here to help you enhance your style!
Find out what you want to focus on. Entryway centerpieces could include vases, large artwork, plants or more. If you’re using an entryway console table, try a large piece of art. Large-scale works of art will immediately attract attention. Pair it with a lamp and a vase that almost matches the tall artwork so that the art doesn’t dominate anything else on the table.
If you are working with a table in the center of the hall, keep in mind that it will be seen from all angles, not just from the front. Styling around the world can be a challenge, but with the right tools, like coffee table books, beads, and bowls, it will be a breeze!
Console Table Decorating Ideas For Every Room In The House
Height is the most important thing to keep in mind when designing your entry table, so be sure to layer the table with short, tall and in-between pieces to create a neat look. A vase of fresh flowers will always look good next to a coffee table book full of bright pictures that you can change every day. Need inspiration for a coffee table book? This is!
Don’t forget to play with textures too. If your entryway console table has a rustic style, pair it with a simple glass vase and some greenery to balance the rough texture of the table with soft, clean edges. Alternatively, if you have a marble foyer table, try one of our vintage ceramic mason jars. They are full of textural goodness and will look great with freshly cut branches from your favorite tree.
Don’t limit your entry table decoration to the table! Play with the space below by adding a bench, a few ottomans or baskets. If it takes you half an hour just to say goodbye (are we just from the Midwest?), include some ottomans or stools so you can sit while you chat.
Entryway Ideas For The Best First Impression
Do you always throw your things on the hall table? Put it away with some cleverly placed baskets. Even better, choose an entry table to store. That way, your foyer will always look great and you won’t have to spend another minute wondering where you left your keys.
For those of us who enjoy a minimalist moment, keep your entry table decoration simple with a single vase of fresh flowers or twigs. You shouldn’t be afraid of empty space. This less-is-more approach can really elevate your entry, and you’ll barely have to lift a finger.
