Decorating Your Coffee Table For Christmas
Well, I’m very happy to have this coffee table! I don’t know how long I searched and bought the perfect piece for our living room. I love my old pallet on wheels, don’t get me wrong. Do you know one. Nice firm, but it took up a lot of space because of the way the metal wheels were locked. I was ready for the mod too; especially with our new vibrating mat (linking a similar one from Amazon here!).
My Simple Christmas Coffee Table Display
When I first saw this gold and glass gem on Wayfair a few years ago, I wanted it but was worried it wouldn’t match our furniture. I don’t know why I thought that, because this style can be combined with different rooms. I thought it was glass and I was afraid of having a baby (soon to be two). The lower level is mirrored and adds more dimension and light to the space. The upper level is made of glass and offers an outdoor feeling; Just what we need for this space – we have a small living room.
Since I’m the only woman in the house, that technically makes me the queen, i.e. the sole style decision maker. So I took charge of all the interior design work. Although I’ll clean the little fingerprints off this beauty, who knows how long she’ll look great!
What makes this article even funnier is that it’s Christmas and we’re decorating our house for the holidays! What could be better than pulling out a new coffee table and decorating it in the Christmas spirit! This got me thinking about how much I love creating different looks with my home decor, so I thought I’d share how to dress up your coffee table for the holidays!
Coffee Table Christmas Decoration Ideas
I love me some coffee table books! They add height to accommodate items and also look great all year round. Another important thing is to always have a vase full of beautiful flowers. This year I have a rose gold/pink themed living room, so I decided to go with blush pinks. I also found the CUTEST bottle brushes that bring me to life! I found them two years ago, but they only became popular this season.
Having a nice carafe or tasty container is always the perfect piece of coffee. I chose a very small mercury glass to fill with Christmas candy or M&M’s. It doesn’t last long with Fisher, so I wait to fill it up when I’m not looking. I got creative with a little glass dome I found at the Hobby Lobby when it was half cut down by adding a small clump of Christmas trees inside. You can change them according to the seasons! Here are some similar options from Amazon.
I also added a cute little fake gift wrapped in leopard print paper that sticks out of my couch cushions. More importantly, there are always candles. I’m in, guys. The mood a candle can create can set the tone of a room!

A covered Christmas tree adds to the snowy look. To replicate real snow, the branches are coated with a white powder mixture. They are so beautiful.
The bare Christmas tree is the easiest and fastest option. “Nude” means only with lights and no other decorations. They’re magical on their own, and if you’re looking for an easy budget option, this is for you. I myself am a big fan of raw wood!
A decorated artificial Christmas tree is the most common type of Christmas tree and can be altered however you see fit. The decorating options are endless and can be fun for the whole family.
A French Farmhouse Christmas In The Family Room
A real Christmas tree is a must have for my family and makes a great family tradition. There’s nothing better than going to the tree farm with a hot hot chocolate and having your freshly cut tree trimmed. Not to mention the amazing smell that comes with having real wood in your home.
Of course, it also has its drawbacks. It can be expensive because you have to buy a new one every year compared to an artificial tree. They can also get dirty and you have to think about watering them. I think the pros outweigh the cons.
Wreaths are another easy way to decorate for Christmas. You can use them in different ways at home. There are endless options to achieve the overall look and authentic fresh bouquets. Here are some of the ways I have used wreaths in my home.
How I Am Transitioning Decor From Fall To Christmas On My Coffee Table
The most common place to add wreaths is outside the front door. It will add a nice festive touch to the exterior of your home. Did you know they can also be added to interior doors? Below is an example.
I like the look of the crowns on the exterior windows, especially the large colonnade with the little lights on the windows. She is so beautiful. We actually have a Colonial and I’ve always wanted to add wreaths to the exterior windows. This can be a lot of work and can be expensive depending on how many windows you have. Maybe this year!
Another creative way to use wreaths on windows is to add them to the interior! You can add decorative tape to hang them up, then use some tape to secure them to the top of the window.
Christmas Home Decorating Ideas
If you have space, you can add a Christmas wreath as a wall decoration. We have a perfect spot between two windows in our living room and it always makes a lovely focal point for the room.
Last but not least, another creative way to decorate for Christmas is to put wreaths on your bar. you can use the command bars to correct. I love these sparkly flowers. It added the perfect amount of holiday cheer to our existing decor.
One of my favorite ways to decorate for Christmas is to add as many lights as possible. They add extra cozy magic to the holiday season. Best of all, you can use them in places other than the Christmas tree. Here are some creative ways to add lights to my house.

I also use these battery-operated lamps on shelves and hide the battery behind a decorative element.
