When I took a closer look at the two coffee tables in our house, I realized that there are five basic decorating styles that I always use, and today I’m going to share each of those coffee table decorating ideas with you. you!

The hardest part for me was finding a large square tray with a handle that I liked, but I finally found the perfect one on Etsy. The store where I bought it no longer exists, but you can find an almost identical tray at. They offer them in a variety of colors in a matte or velvety glossy finish. A tray this big is expensive, but I’ll have mine in YEARS. I like that if I change the color later, I can just repaint it instead of having to buy new wheels.

In our living room coffee table/stool, I mostly used lightly woven trays to add some brightness and texture. My favorite is the nice size and the right price for such a large pan:

You can also use other natural elements to add vitality – a bowl of pine cones, feathers or marine elements like driftwood, seashells and coral are just a few ideas. The best thing about natural elements is that there are so many things right outside your door that you can find and use for free!

Books are one of my favorite ideas for decorating a coffee table. They’re perfect for creating an extra layered look and it’s great to have some interesting books on the coffee table for your family and guests to read and read. As a design buff, I am (to great surprise) design-centric for the most part.
