I made this ONE purchase on Amazon, mainly to get some cute Mickey ears for the guests to wear at the party. For $17, I’d say it was pretty good considering it included 10 pairs of ears, a birthday banner, balloons, and a hanging Mickey sign. I knew we could easily incorporate these items into our outdoor decor.

Edited to add – Unfortunately, the Mickey birthday supplies I ordered from Amazon are no longer available. If you’re looking for similar decor or cheap mouse ears, check out the Amazon links below:
When I’m getting ready for a party, my go-to place is the dollar store. I was able to get all the essentials (plates, napkins, cups, and bowls) for our very own Mickey Mouse birthday party for a super cheap price!
Although these items usually only come in one color, they’re easy to make quickly to match your theme! For example, I taped Micky’s signature white buttons on my red cups to match his red shorts.

I also picked up many of the craft supplies I needed for my Mickey Mouse decorations, including cardboard, paper, glue, and paint.
We already had a “Happy Birthday” banner included in our Amazon Party Pack, but I also wanted to create something a little more personal. I used Canva to create stencils for my Mickey Mouse banner, printed them out, and used dollar store cards to create the shapes and letters I needed.
We decided to set up a “Hot Diggity Dog Bar” for our Mickey Mouse themed meal. I painted a mason jar in Mickey’s signature colors to serve as our container. It was so easy to throw together things I already had at home!

This photo booth frame was another simple DIY using cardboard from the dollar store. The hard part was reinforcing the cardboard with stronger cardboard so guests could sign up for photo opportunities. I think it was great and a great way to encourage guests to take pictures!

The cupcake stand for our Mickey Mouse themed birthday party was super easy to make. I bought a red bowl from the dollar store and once again added those signature white buttons so it’s easily recognizable as Mickey. Then I put the black plate in my closet over the bowl and
For our cupcakes, I used the Meaningful Mama pattern and printed it on red card stock. To make them look totally Mickey, I (re)matched the white buttons to his shorts.
The cupcakes themselves were decorated to look like Mickey’s head. I baked chocolate brownies and topped them with chocolate buttercream. Then I added two Oreo cookies to look like mouse ears.

Who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse? For more than 90 years, it has been bringing fun and joy to the world. Who is Mickey without his other half Minnie Mouse? This classic birthday party theme is perfect for any Disney fan!
My daughter loves all things Disney, especially Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and her favorite place in the world to visit is Walt Disney Park in Florida. A few years ago I created a Mickey and Minnie Mouse themed dessert station for my daughter Carolina’s 15th birthday.
Mickey Mouse Theme Party
The night started at her favorite Italian restaurant where her friends surprised her! They then had a fun scavenger hunt at the mall, and of course it was Disney themed. Then all the girls headed over to our house for a nap and of course her surprise dessert!
I say surprised, but he saw it before he went to eat. She just assumed it was for a client, that’s the life of a party stylist kid haha! So when she found out it was actually for her, she was really excited!
When you’re planning a Mickey and Minnie themed dinner party, you can’t go wrong with a black, white, red and yellow color scheme. They are classic Mickey and Minnie colors. I started my table with a black tablecloth and red spots. I paired them with black and white containers along with glass cake stands and apothecary jars.

I just created a seamless background using pom poms and red and white polka dot fabric for the mini bow with my hot glue gun! I mounted the mini on black and white striped fabric and made a great backdrop for my table!
The girls got to watch a movie together (a Disney movie, of course!) I mixed popcorn and candy on this dessert table.
I used a variety of candies including Mickey Mouse lollipops, red and yellow citrus candies, rock candy, and red gummies. I also featured gold chocolate coins with a special Disney park coin in the shape of Mickey.

Since the girls can’t live on candy alone, I added some strawberries and blueberries to the polka dot cakes.
Our breads came from Michelle’s Bakery. This time we introduced mini cookies complete with cute bows!
Also chocolate and vanilla mini cupcakes, with cupcake liners featuring Mickey and Minnie’s signature white gloves!
Minnie Mouse Birthday
For her birthday cake, I featured a ruffle frosted cake that looked like a Minnie Mouse dress. I topped the cake with a Happy Birthday topper that I created on my Cricut.
In fact, I did all the cuts for this party on my Cricut. Marks on cake and cake tins and popcorn tins. I also created our own straw flags, mug wraps and lemonade table signs.
For the drinks table, I created a backdrop using paper fans in red, black and white party colors. I treated the girls to Mickey Mouse decorated Mason Jars along with fresh lemonade!

Minnie Mouse Valentine’s Party
Thirteen years is a big thing. This is the first year that you are no longer a child, no longer “in between”, you are a real teenager! That’s a real celebration if you ask me. So when one of my wonderful clients asked me to help throw a 13th birthday party for her daughter, Lexi, I was excited to make it special for her.
Spring will be here before we know it, and as the pandemic continues, we’re all still finding ways to celebrate safely. Small outdoor parties are one of the best ways to do this! So I’m sharing this cute llama themed one
