Easy Diy Christmas Table Decorations Ideas
Happy holidays! I love this time of year when friends and family get together to celebrate the season, and usually there’s dinner! I find myself setting a lot of Christmas tables this time of year, and I’m always challenged when I have to make a centerpiece for a long table.
Luckily I found an easy solution that only takes a few minutes to prepare and works with any color scheme or place setting!
Beautiful and fresh wooden centerpiece This is the perfect way for a long table because it can be made as long as needed and yet it is low and does not block the view of the guests.
Beautiful Diy Festive Ideas To Decorate Your Main Table This Christmas
To create this look, I started with a plain white tablecloth and then layered a bed of fresh pine branches in the middle of the table. I cut off all the pieces that are too wide and make sure the edges are tucked in.
For this table, I wanted to continue the tartan theme of my family room’s Christmas decorations, so I tucked a 12-inch ribbon into a pine branch along the center. This is the same technique I use to put ribbon on my Christmas tree. You can view these details by clicking here.
After I put the ribbon in place, I added copper painted greenery and then sprinkled frosted pine cones and glitter ornaments on the pine runner.
Super Cool Diy Christmas Centerpiece For Your Festive Table Decor
The final touch was the addition of six copper candle holders with white tapers. And that’s it! This long table centerpiece is so easy to make in minutes!
After completing the centerpiece, I still wanted to add a little more of a tartan plaid accent, so I put a piece of ribbon on each side of the table and let it drape over the edge. A simple V cut finishes off the edge of the ribbon.
These light ribbon accents are the perfect addition to the table and create a great base for place settings.
Easy And Affordable Christmas Centerpieces
I used a bright copper charger as the base of my placement with light blue and white accent panels on top. I added squares of dark blue napkins to the salad plate and put a piece of copper greens, tied with a wire wreath all over.
I really like this color combination and think it would be fun for a Christmas or holiday celebration.
This easy centerpiece is perfect for a long table and can be made in minutes using any color combination you want. I especially like the ribbon below the place setting as an added accent on the white map. I hope this inspires you to create your own fresh pine centerpiece this season!
