Scout is dispatched via our in-house delivery team or sometimes via a trusted third party carrier. Delivery time to most parts of the US is one to four weeks depending on distance from our warehouse in Dallas, TX.
The delivery team will open your order, move it to the nearest indoor location (exit, aisle, etc.) and dispose of all packaging. It is the responsibility of the buyer or recipient to inspect upon delivery and reject receipt of goods in poor condition. All custom orders and pre-order delivery time frames begin once the part is finished or in our warehouse.
A pre-order is the purchase of an item that is not currently in stock. We have a delivery date in Dallas, TX listed on each product page for each pre-order item. Any product purchased on preorder will be booked for shipping and shipped when the product arrives at our warehouse or for white-knuckle delivery (depending on the size and nature of the piece). Expect delivery within 1-4 weeks after the estimated arrival date listed on the product page.

Scout orders are only taken for products that are in stock for up to 30 days. A 30-day holding period for pre-order and custom furniture begins after first notification of delivery or pickup.
Our operations team will be in touch to schedule white-knuckle delivery when your products are ready to go (1-7 days in advance). If you have any special requests or delivery instructions, please note these in your order at the time of purchase. Smaller items are usually shipped via UPS. These deliveries are not scheduled, but tracking will be shared with the email you provide once your order has been shipped.
New and unused Scout Label items may be returned at customer’s expense within 15 days of receipt for store credit or refunded subject to a 25% restocking fee. Outbound shipping is non-refundable. Floor models, sale items, custom orders and vintage items All final sales are sold in ‘as is’ condition with no returns. Vintage items will show wear commensurate with their age. Buyer shall assume that Scout has not performed any restoration work unless otherwise specified. All merchandise listed prices include shipping, packing or restocking charges. Sales marked down by 30% or more are final and non-refundable.

External conditions beyond Scout’s control may affect the shelf life of the Products. Scout does not warrant Scout-labeled, vintage or refurbished/refurbished items after receipt from Scout Design Studio.
Customer preference for all sales except small accessories, vintage pieces and showroom floor models must be at Scout’s warehouse location at 4901 Woodall St, Dallas, TX 75247. Pickup hours are Monday – Friday 10:00 – 16:00. Purchased items left with Scout within 10 business days without payment for additional services will be assessed a daily handling fee of $10 per item, calculated at the time of pickup. Purchases remaining within 30 calendar days will be considered the property of Scout Design Studio again without credit or refund.
For reupholstery, customers agree that we have provided yardage quotes to the best of our ability without shortening the portion in question. Due to volume and space limitations, Scout cannot be responsible for transporting and returning excess consumer tissue. Cancellation of an order is non-refundable for any job. If an order is canceled prior to shipping, that payment or refund will be refunded to the customer as store credit that can be used toward future purchases at Scout Design Studio.
