Gold Holiday Table Decor

Gold Holiday Table Decor – Now that Halloween is over, I can’t wait to get things going for the holidays! Months in advance I start thinking about what color schemes I can use, the formality of my decor, and how I will use last year’s decorations in new ways. Today I’m sharing a silver and gold glam Christmas centerpiece I put together for our dining room buffet.

For this area, I decided to use a metal combo so I could do anything with my multiple table settings for the holidays. During the holidays we usually entertain once a week, so I like to keep my color palette neutral.

It was a very straightforward process. First, I randomly placed three Christmas trees on the center (putting the tallest one in the middle).

Second, I wrapped the Christmas wreath around the tree bases until they were balanced. If you don’t have a working wreath, you can use the Christmas option to get a similar look.

I then layered large hand blown glass ornaments to contrast and then placed old mercury glass ornaments (from HomeGoods).

Any ornament will work here with a different color palette that works with the rest of your decor.

Can I tell you how hard it is to take pictures of glass and mirrors without getting photobombed?! I see myself in every close-up of the glass decorations, so I can’t guess who took these photos. Enter the smile.

Having mirrors behind this center doubles the effect I always thought it would.
