Hall Table Christmad Decor – Whoa whoa guys! It’s December, which means the Christmas decorations are in full swing! As many of you know, I had all my decorations installed last month before my little Bambino arrived. I’m so glad I did because little Ford arrived Thanksgiving morning! 🙂 He is the best gift of all! We really enjoyed the newly added party space. If you missed the post on the Christmas fireplace and farmhouse tree decorations, check it out here.
I’m a big fan of Christmas decorations, and this year, I’ve styled my console with more gifts than in the past. It’s the first thing people see when they walk into my house, so I wanted it to be really festive. I take an old decor and combine it with some new elements.

First, I start with the “base” of each shelf: vegetables and/or blueberries. I found these two artificial options on target. They have a wide variety of garlands depending on your style. When designing a table and/or console, I always recommend a base. Helps fill in the area and create a base. 😉 Then I added two of my favorite items to decorate the farmhouse Christmas space, wooden signs and a fake tree (green and wood). Check out my favorites below! If I don’t link to an exact item it’s because it’s old and/or out of stock, but I’ll share similar options.

Then, I used some of the farmhouse goodies I bought this year: arctic mailboxes (sold out, similar here), galvanized Santa tub with birch logs, mini house figurines, and a white van. I ended up adding a cozy element and a couple of pillows. Surprise, surprise… lol This post may contain affiliate links that give me a small percentage of the sale and you don’t have to pay anything.
Yesterday I had a book club at my house. This is just a kick in the pants that I need to complete my Christmas decorations. To be honest, I didn’t do all the work. My cape is just part of the decor, I have more work to do in the family room. But I’ve made the entry so that at least you have a nice place that we can enjoy. I love my dining table, it’s so much fun to decorate!
All Christmas decorations are made with things I already have or things I bought cheap.
Have You Started Decorating For Christmas Yet? — Designed
I bought the lamp trim for $1 at the thrift store and added a red bow to the shade. I thought green would look better, but it doesn’t, so I won’t stress. 🙂
Large candle I bought last year for the sale after Christmas. I just wrapped it in some scrapbook paper and tied some jute in the middle:
All three gifts are blocks of wood, which I wrapped in kraft paper and tied with fabric. So cheap, but so cute!

Gingerbread Boy and Santa that I made a few years ago. They are still my favorites!
I think this block of candles might be my favorite decoration. Next week I’ll show you how I did it.
These two trees are the projects that I showed you the other day. I like your results. I’m working on a tutorial, so be sure to check back if you want to do it yourself. 🙂 Did you finish all the Christmas decorations? Or do you like me? A lot of people are on a tight leash this year, and I wanted to share some of today’s most affordable Christmas decorations. It feels like a vacation and decorating a house doesn’t have to cost hundreds of dollars. I’m a savvy budget shopper myself, which means I know where to find the cheapest yet trendiest home decor.
Console Table Decorated For Christmas
Most of what I have included in today’s post ranges from $5 to $30. Seriously, you can get some gorgeous gold glitter trees for $5! From decorative wall signs to comfy plush throw pillows, be sure to check out the best home decor from Target and Walmart for the holiday season.
While Christmas usually revolves around adding bright reds and greens to the home, this year I wanted to add a little sparkle and shine. These $5.00 Little Gold Glitter Christmas Trees are placed around the center of the living room coffee table to add to that! The gleaming trees are clustered with snow-white tips.
For just $10, you can place one of these flocked Christmas trees on a coffee table that will make you feel like you’re in snowy Aspen. By placing one of the flocked Christmas trees behind my large white tree cone, I brought a cool feel to the coffee table. Frosty branches bring any space into winter.

Until the end of 2020, garland beads continued to be a popular trend in home decor. For the holiday season, Target is launching some cheery red and tan beaded garlands for $10. You can see how I chose to wrap my garland around the rest of my coffee table decor.
One of the first items I bought at Target that went into Christmas decorating mode were these white and gold trees! I also keep them in my office space on a coat rack to be behind me in an upcoming YouTube video.
I went from coffee table decoration to another decoration in my living room! Next, let’s talk about pillows. I’m definitely not someone who puts the same three pillows on the couch all year long. I am a lover of seasonal pillows.

The “Merry” pillow you see above is from this year’s Target Hearth & Hand collection. Just so you know, it’s not a huge pillow, but it works. I love the crisp white background with embroidered red lettering. Here’s a modern and classic way to add Christmas pillows this year.
My “Merry Christmas” square pillow is from last year, but I found another great option at Target. Check out this similar “Merry Christmas” pillow with a white background and red lettering on the back. $10 is a bargain!
Now to what I call the main attraction: the input console! I had a blast renovating this area of the house this month. From collecting wall signs to finding the perfect flocked wreath, I think console tables look as festive as possible.
Dynamic Table Decoration Trends
Somehow I managed to find a super cheap wooden sign that says “Happy” for $5.00! I searched Walmart’s site to find my exact sign, but until then, check out this farmhouse-inspired sign for $16, as well as these $12 festive hanging signs from Target.
While searching for the perfect flocked wreath, I stumbled across a great selection at my local Walmart.
Flocked crowns are sure to cost upwards of $15. I am so happy to find a reasonably priced fake crown to take home.

At first, I wanted to use a long snow wreath to decorate our TV cabinet, but it blocked the TV too much. Next, I carefully moved the 9-foot flocked crown over the console and placed it in the middle of the hallway. It hangs on the console table because it’s so long, but I love how it looks every time I come home!
I remember growing up with a giant hanging advent calendar to count down to Christmas.
This is an adult version of a fun countdown calendar with a little festive wreath to mark the days leading up to Christmas morning. You can support the calendar on the wall or hang it, depending on how you like to wear this pretty ornament.

Brian and I have our own red monogrammed holiday stockings that I hang from the console drawer. Target has my favorite tights every year, and I’ve been wearing them for the last 2 years!
How cute are these stuffed snowmen! ? Last year, we bought two snowmen and kept them in one of our spare closets. I can’t wait to put them under the console this year. Fortunately, Target is bringing back these white snowmen in the 2020 hats and scarves for $25.
Target mugs are always affordable and have the cutest sayings! I had to get my morning coffee this season when I found this “Sledding All Day” mug in red and green font.
Farmhouse Christmas Ideas For The Holiday Season
Especially during the first weeks of the quarantine in March, I couldn’t imagine life without this coffee maker on the kitchen table. Now the Nespresso Vertuo Espresso & Coffee Maker is on sale on QVC just in time for the holidays.
If you know someone who absolutely drinks a cup of coffee every morning, I highly recommend the Vertuo machine as
