I know, I know. Some people love color more than I do. But when you’re decorating with neutrals in your everyday decor like I do, it’s easy to add a few seasonal items without major decorating. To add a seasonal touch, suggest a number or cut a few seasonal plants in your everyday decor. Add a seasonal flower after the usual decoration or hang it on the door. The neutral background makes it easy to add a little holiday flair.
Decorating for the seasons doesn’t have to be layered or complicated. Sometimes a small nod to the season is enough. Like these eight little pumpkins I bought at Homesense a few years ago. Small but powerful in this white and white space.
