Amazing Ways To Style Your Console Table With Fall Decor
In this post, I’m going to show you how to add some simple fall farmhouse style to your home!
I know I know. Some people love colors more than me. But when you stick to neutrals in your everyday decor like I do, it’s easy enough to add some seasonal touches without major decorations. To add a seasonal touch, put up a sign or sprinkle some seasonal plants into your everyday decor. Add a seasonal wreath behind some plain decorations or simply hang it on a door. A neutral background makes it easy to add any cheer.
Decorating for the season doesn’t have to be layered or even complicated. Sometimes even the smallest hint of a season is enough. Like these eight little pumpkins I bought from Homesense years ago. They are small but mighty in this black and white space.

I currently have an antique French pastry case in our dining room on the table that we picked up at a local antique and architectural salvage shop. I was very happy to find it as they are hard to find in Canada. I think it will be of great use!
For fall, fill a pastry case with twisted lengths of faux fall garland, along with mini pumpkins and pinecones. Place some fake pumpkins on top and fill in the gaps with some paper mache pears to complete the display.

We all know that scents can add a layer of comfort any time of year, and in fall, you can reinforce this concept with fall scents. Here are some of my fall candles:
Collection; Aren’t they cute? It is most tempting to group items with single numbers. Just add taper candles and the glow of the candles is so cozy and relaxing.
It’s always a good idea to use a bowl as a “filler” when designing any tabletop style. Filler items are those that can complete the look after you have placed your larger and taller items. I love draping wooden beads or placing candles inside containers for fall. You can find similar containers here.

I actually used two sets of beads, a wood colored set and a white set, to fall over this console table. For this table, he aimed to add a layer and texture. Both layers and textures are part of a relaxed farmhouse look. There’s no real trick to how I place them, just surrounding existing objects where they rest inside other objects.
Finally, a vase with an autumnal stem ties it all together, doesn’t it?! I used seasonal hulls on the ships for each season. One of the easiest ways to change the decor seasonally.

She used neutral colors accented with greenery to create such a pretty front door console table for spring. It looks so fresh and vibrant, so my goal was to create something with a similar spring vibe.

I made this first version and while I liked it, I decided to try a second version with fewer elements for a more minimalistic look.
I think the trick here is to gather a few elements that you can use in your spring vignette and experiment a little until you find one that satisfies you.
However, a uniform color scheme is important. I mainly used neutrals and greens, which ties it together as a vignette.

If your books have a lot of colors or patterns, especially colors that don’t work with your color scheme, covering them with brown paper is an easy way to fix that!
Some of the books I chose for my console table work well because they have green or neutral colors… and books that just aren’t wrapped in brown paper.
