Eve party table design, the only thought that comes to mind is simple. Honestly guys, I’ve been really tired lately and I’m getting ready to take a break after the Christmas break. As much as I wanted to celebrate Christmas and New Years, I wanted to make the transition from a Christmas-themed dining room to a New Year’s room easy and quick. Let me share with you some simple holiday table and decoration ideas that require almost no money or time. You may also want to check out some great New Years party ideas at the end of this post from our blogging friends for the Year of the Party. If you’ve seen the Christmas dining room this year, you’ll notice that this New Year’s party look isn’t that different. However, I think the addition of bright metallic gold accents, glitter, and bubbly (of course!) helped turn this room into a New Year’s celebration space. For starters, these gold cups I found in the store (they’re plastic, but aren’t they beautiful?!) add a lot of drama to my simple white place. I also layer plates on some gold chargers I’ve had for years. They are also made of plastic, but I think they are very cute! Another simple addition is glitter cardboard stars used as confetti on the table. I cut some out with Cricut and you can find the files I used to make them right here. I just used 12×12″ sheets of glitter scrapbook paper to cut out these stars, and used some for the table and the rest to make this simple hoop wreath for the wall. Glitter stars + embroidery hoop + glue gun = simple. but fun Christmas Eve wreath! In each gold bowl I put some chocolates wrapped in gold, and I also put some of these chocolates on the table runner. The table runner is the same design I had on the Christmas table, but I just added this chocolate and a thin gold ribbon On the sideboard, I added paper napkins gold stars, a beautiful bottle of Prosecco, a clock and thin gold ribbons Glittering paper stars add instant fun! here’s the stage for the night… ‘Re ready to ring in New Year in simple yet glamorous style!
