Happy Holidays! I love this time of year when friends and family gather to celebrate the season, and it usually involves food! I find myself setting a lot of Christmas tables this time of year and I am always challenged when I have to make a centerpiece for a long table.

Fortunately, I’ve found a simple solution that takes just minutes and works with any color scheme or place setting!

This beautiful crisp pine centerpiece is perfect for a long table as it can be made as long as needed, yet is low and doesn’t block guests’ views.

To create this look, I started with a simple white tablecloth, then placed a bed of fresh pine branches in the center of the table. I trimmed pieces that were too wide and made sure the ends were hidden.

For this table, I wanted to continue the plaid tartan theme of the Christmas decorations in my family room, so I tucked 12″ strips of ribbon into the pine branches the length of the focal point. After I had the ribbon in place, I added copper-dyed greenery and sprinkled frozen pine cones and glittery ornaments onto the pine runner.

The finishing touch was the addition of six brass candlesticks with white tapered candles. And that was it! So easy to make this long table centerpiece in just minutes!
