Happy Holidays! I love this time of year when friends and family get together to celebrate the season. And there’s always food involved! I’ve found myself setting several Christmas tables this time of year. And making a coffee table for a long table is often a challenge.

Christmas Table Decor Ideas For Your Holiday Dinner

Luckily, I’ve found a simple solution that takes just a few minutes to create and work with any color scheme or place setting!

This beautiful fresh pine centerpiece is perfect for long tables. But it’s low and doesn’t obstruct guests’ view.

To create this look I started with a plain white tablecloth. I laid out layers of fresh pine branches and cut a wide section down the middle of the table to make sure the ends were covered.

Christmas Table Decorations Perfect For The Holiday Season

For this table I wanted to continue the checkered theme from our family room’s Christmas decorations. So I attached a 12-inch strip of ribbon to a pine branch along the entire length of the center table. This is the same technique you use to attach ribbons to your Christmas tree. After holding the ribbon in place I add the copper colored greenery. Then sprinkle the pine cones and glittery trinkets over the pine cones.

The final touch is adding 6 copper candlesticks with white taper candles. And that’s it! It’s so easy to make this centerpiece for a long table in just a few minutes!

Christmas Table Decoration Ideas

When I’m done decorating the center table, I want to add a plaid as well. So I put a ribbon on both sides of the table to cover the edge of the table and finish the ribbon with a simple V-cut.

This simple ribbon accent is the perfect addition to any table and makes a beautiful base for any arrangement.

I used a light copper charger as a base with a light blue and white embossed plate on top. A dark blue square napkin was placed on the salad plate, and green copper plates tied with barbed wire were placed here and there.
