Silver And Gold Christmas Table Decorations – I am so excited to share an elegant silver and gold Christmas table with you! I’ve shared all the details of how I put it all together below. Creating Christmas/holiday tablecloths is always so much fun for me and I look forward to creating special memories as our family gathers around this table.
I’ve always loved Lenox tableware, from fine bone china to everyday tableware. I felt like I had hit the jackpot a few months ago when Lenox contacted me and asked if I would decorate a beautiful dinner table for them. Uummmm, please pinch me! Hiss! I’ve had my eye on Contempo Luxe Dinnerware for a while, so I chose that pattern, along with a few other items to make this gorgeous table!
Silver And Gold Christmas Table Decorations
As I said in a previous post, the beauty is in the details. I started making the centerpiece of this winter wreath.
Festive Holiday Styling Tips: Christmas Table Decorations
To create this, I started with a layer of faux cedar branches. I layered the three branches with the stem/branch part pointing towards the middle, and repeated from the other side until they overlapped each other and intertwined in the middle.
You can see this (species) below. I’m sorry I didn’t take a picture before I was done. Sometimes I get so engrossed in a project that I forget to take pictures!
Next, I repeated the same idea as above with frosted pine branches, frosted eucalyptus, mistletoe stems with white berries, and painted pine cones. Finally, I added some frosted white peonies to fill in each hole. This is completely done with artificial flowers and greenery.

Next, I added these beautiful Lenox Wintery Woods tree statues. I used three sets of these, one at one end and another nested in the center wreath. Then I added some gold candles.
The layering of the arrangement is also important and what I’ve found can add a lot of beauty to a table. I set up all the utensils and other items I plan to use and organize them on my island to make table setting easier.
I love these tablecloths because they are versatile and inexpensive. They pair well with many different dishes.
Spectacular Silver Christmas Tree Ideas
After setting the tablecloth, I pulled out a gold charger, followed by a Contempo Luxe dinner and salad plate. I spread gold and white napkins between the plates.
These plates are also from Lenox and are two tone gold and silver. It’s called Vintage Jewel Gold 5 Piece Dinner Set Inlay
One of the things I love about setting up my table this way is that it’s so versatile. I can use this winter decoration wreath all winter long. When the Christmas/holiday season is over, I can give the table a new look by removing the Christmas tree, replacing the salad plate and changing the napkins. This table will last all winter. Absolutely Stunning Ideas For Christmas Table Decorations
Here you can see more details above! Each layer of the wreath center and the place is what makes it so enchanting and beautiful.
I also added some green cushions to the end chairs to add a touch of emerald green to the dining room.
Can you see why I am obsessed with these dishes? The gold scalloped edges of this Lenox flatware are beautiful. It reminds me of an old Limoges Haviland Ranson China Pattern that I have collected for years.

I love this table top that mixes silver, gold and white. These colors always blend well.
Here are more pictures so you can see all the details. The projects I use are all linked below!
I usually use napkin rings, but this time I decided to change things up and fold the napkin into this unique shape and spread it under the salad plate.
The Best Of Red And Gold Christmas Tree Decoration Ideas
I also added a small frosted tree to the side table in the corner of the dining room.
You can find all sources below. The golden fan-shaped charger is from Pier1, but I haven’t seen it for a long time, and it is probably discontinued. Placemats are from Hobby Lobby.
I’ve linked below some other Lenox Wintery trees that are also great for tablescapes or winter decorations. One of my favorite things about the holidays is the many opportunities we have to get together with family and friends to celebrate the season. If you read my last post, you know that we will be hosting two Christmas sit-down dinners this year. This Gold and Silver Snowflake Christmas Table is the second table I have set up for both events.
Christmas Table Decorating Ideas For Holiday Cheer
The first event was our Progressive Neighborhood Dinner where we had 20 guests for the main course. Depending on the number of people, I set up this table for eight, a table for six in my smaller dining area, and a table for four in my breakfast area. In my last post, I shared how I came up with my snowflake theme. I wanted a theme that would be shared across all my tables, but vary based on all my served dishes.
Elements of the winter snowflake table setting that I also used in this new table setting include:
For this new table in my dining room, I wanted to keep the theme but modify the colors to coordinate with the Christmas decorations in this room. I decorated the tree in this room with a metal mix, so I chose to use gold and silver for this area. Luckily, I already had these perfect snowflake disks (from HomeGoods) last year, so things started.
Evergreen Decoration Set
The greatest find of this table is the placemats! And since you might not believe I stumbled across them at Big Lots (while shopping for a specific white elephant gift), I took a picture of them to prove it! Ha ha! Yes, that price is $2.50! !
Since we only serve entrees, I keep these setups simple so my guests don’t have to juggle multiple courses. I can actually use formal plastic dishes on it because we have to run to the next class after class and we don’t want to have to deal with 20 dishes that night!
To coordinate with the rest of the table, I used the same amount of silver beads, our Riedel wine glasses, white napkins (with silver trim), and natural garland.
Vintage Inspired Christmas Table Setting
To make this centerpiece, I started with a natural cedar wreath that I purchased from Home Depot for $15.99! It is so long that it hangs over the end of the table. The garland bends naturally and I just run with it.
Later, I put it on the Christmas tree of the golden cone. Using different heights adds drama to the centerpiece. I chose to use these trees to complement the silver and gold gorgeous Christmas centerpieces I made for the buffet (pictured).
All that’s left is to place the various golden Christmas ornaments and then the votives.

You know how much I love setting tables! I have set many Christmas tables over the years.
But this is different. It’s more formal and all of that is what I have.
I came up with a silver and gold theme and settled on a formal table. It’s funny because I originally started with a “rustic” idea, but it turned out that way!
