We had our first annual Easter Brunch/Egg Hunt this Sunday and I had to prepare the table decorations ahead of time to make sure everything was perfect for this weekend. We have a total of 10 people around our table (plus 2 babies and 1 in her mom’s womb!) and can’t wait to share this holiday with so many wonderful people. I think this is the beginning of a new tradition.
Festive Easter Tablescape Ideas
I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on decorations so I made sure I made good use of things I already had and used some cheap items to make it look like I spent a lot of money on it. I love tricks like this.
These yellow tulips are $8.99 plus carrots, which are only $2. A beautiful centerpiece that screams spring for just $11!
I already had the bowls and cupcake stand so all I needed for these decorations were fake grass ($1), chocolate bunnies ($2 for $5) and colored digs ($2). It’s more table decorations for just $8. Need a dairy free option to make it allergen safe for rabbits? Use this recipe.
Stylish And Unique Easter Dinner Table Decorations
I added Easter candy and other treats (such as gluten free bunny cookies and cereal, dried strawberries and bunny gummies) around the table as decorations, which were another $20 out of pocket. So far, we’ve spent less than $40 on table materials. Such a deal!
The plates, goblets and napkins are mine. The key to a beautiful table setting, for me, is mismatched elements and layers. Plates upon plates! I also came across this post to learn how to make bunny ear napkins.
We plan a full brunch menu, including a make-your-own sugar cookie egg station (using this gluten free lemon sugar cookie recipe), a DIY bloody mary bar, and a grown-up Easter egg hunt with bottomless mimosas. Indeed, we are all children at heart! I can’t wait to officially decorate my table and impress my guests with these cheap and easy Easter table ideas! We absolutely love terrariums. We love their freshness and the fact that there are so many ways to customize them, so how about an Easter table decoration with moss runners and apothecary jar terrariums? A few colorful Easter eggs would also look great on a runner. You don’t have to over complicate the terrarium…just put some moss, some pebbles, some seasonal clippings and other things. You can see what such an arrangement looks like at Blessinghouse.
